History:
As a yearling, Venus injured her leg while out in the pasture. She recovered, but was never able to be ridden. Because of this, she was never shown. Instead of selling her as a companion horse, we decided to keep her as a broodmare. Our goal for her was to produce athletic, sporthorse foals that were bulked up a bit.
Personality:
Despite not being broken to ride, Venus is a friendly mare. She can be a bit shy at times and is wary of strangers, but she is very sweet and highly trusting of those she is familiar with. Venus is quiet and makes a great companion horse for the other broodmares or for geldings who are in the pasture.
