History:
BBS Key Witness was purchased in November 2011 from Odeon of Black Box Stables. His sire, Cody James, is an influential sire in Equine Revolution sim game. Cody James is owned by Kaitlyn of Matuchie Estate, and was a successful flat racer before moving on to steeplechasing and eventing. Witness's fame, Aluminance Record TME, was also a successful show horse, competing as a hunter/jumper for many years. Despite the prominence of racing lines in his pedigree, Black Box decided to start Witness as an eventing horse. He has turned out to be an excellent sporthorse, with the speed and stamina needed to excel in his sport. Here at Gateway, he is a favorite and we hope to have him competing at the advanced level sometime in the near future. We are also excited about his prospects as a breeding stallion for sporthorse foals.
