History:
"Fiona" was acquired condition free from Southern Acres, Inc. in July 2009. We had high hopes for her as a broodmare but didn't end up breeding her for nearly a year. For a while we took her to shows and entered her in halter classes, but then she was retired to full time broodmare duties. Over a year after she had her foal for us, we decided that it was time Fiona retire for good. Even though she only had one foal for us, she had four other for her previous owner and we decided that five was enough.
Personality:
Fiona is very social and doesn't like to be alone for too long. However, she does fine outside in a pasture with other horses and only needs to be stalled when it pours rain. She is perfectly content spending her days outdoors with other retirees.
