History:
Star was purchased condition free from The Sales Arena in July 2009. At that time, Kuutamo Estates was greatly expanding and in dire need of some more good broodmares. Star did some in-hand showing, but was mainly a broodmare. In March 2011, during the move to Gateway Stables, we realized that Star's pedigree did not reflect what we thought it did. Because of this, we made an executive decision to change her lines to fit what we had been breeding her for. That way, instead of having halter lines, our reining foals would trace back to real life reining horses.
